Editor's note:
Our late brother MOHAMED SHEIKH MOHAMED SHUKRI (May Allah S.W.T grant him Jannatul Firdowsa) delivered the following sermons in one of the mosques in Australlia and posted by him in his inspiring website before his sad death. I bring you his sermons and may Allah take the reward to him in the grave.

MY FRIDAY SERMONS

Advice to Muslims
Praise is to Allah, the beneficent, and the merciful. He is the inheritor of the heavens and earth. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah only and no one shares His kingdom. I bear witness that Muhammad (p.b.u.h) is His prophet, servant and messenger, the best of His creation and the seal of all the prophets and messengers.
Dear Muslims,
The best advice from a Muslim to his/her Muslim brother/sister is to fear Allah, the Almighty. It is an essential for all good deeds, the essential for just and patience. So aim advising myself and you all to fear Allah the Almighty, because that is the best advice given by a Muslim to another Muslim, which leads to success in this world and hereafter.
Fear Allah for you live, for your children, for your society, for your religion. Make your obedience to Allah and His messenger defence from anger and punishment of Allah (s.w.t). Make the Quran to defend you from all evil, submit totally to Allah (s.w.t) and make sure of the “Kalimah” you attar all the time in sincere. Don’t give the rights of Allah to anyone else, ask Allah only to guide you to the right path, don’t slaughter animals or make “qurban” except for the sake of Allah (s.w.t) and don’t ask for help when you are in difficulties except Allah (s.w.t).
Give Allah His rights to be worshiped, obeyed and give our Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) his rights of love, and love of his message and follow and obey him as the messenger of Allah (s.w.t). Give the “salihin” the pious people their rights of greatness, follow their good live, pray for them and ask Allah to forgive them. Know the rights of Allah, the rights of His messengers, prophets and pious servants, give the creator His rights and the creatures their rights, don’t give ones rights to another, because doing such a thing is unjust.
Perform your prayers on time; perform it perfectly with all its necessities (pillers, shurud, wajibat). Men should pray in “jama’ah” (congregation) in the Mosques, and women to pray at home because that is good for them, but if a woman attends prayers at mosque it is valid and will get “hasanat” reward.
Read the book of Allah (the Quran) everyday, even if it is a short time, don’t be among the forgetful, and don’t be among those who migrated (left) the Quran. Read the Quran because it is a way of life, a law in this life and hereafter. In it, are your success, respect and safety? Don’t make yourself busy with made stories that waste your time. Allah the Almighty said in His noble Quran:
((O’ you who believe, let not your wealth or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. And whosoever does that, and then they are the losers)). Almunafiqun: 9. In another verse Allah said: ((And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing, est.) to mislead (men) from the path of Allah, or the verses of the Quran) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire) Luqman: 6.
Teach your children the good manners of our religion, guide them to the path of Allah the Almighty. Don’t leave them for bad colleagues who will mislead them, so that they lose and you lose too as a parent your responsibility.
Allah the Almighty said: ((O’ you who believe, ward off yourselves and your families against a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones)) Al-Tahrim: 6.
In another verse Allah said: ((And enjoin As-Salat (prayer) on your family, and be patient in offering them “(i.e Prayer). We ask not of you a provision (i.e to give us something, money); we provide for you. And the good end (i.e Paradise) is for the “Muttaqun”(the pious and righteous persons). Taha: 132.
Dear Muslims, Help yourselves and help each other, unite and be O’ servants of Allah brothers. The Muslim is brother to the other Muslim, don’t take someone’s right and don’t steal. Be merciful to each other, pay your Alms (Zakat), be good to the poor and needy and help those who ask for your help. Be aware of those who want bad for you, a believer is not bitten twice from a hole. Allah the Almighty said: ((O’ you who believe. Fear Allah the Almighty (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. (Obey Him, be thankful to Him and remember Him always) and die not except in a state of Islam (as Muslims, with complete submission to Allah). And hold fast, all of you together, to the rope of Allah (i.e this Quran) and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allah’s favour on you, for you were enemies to one another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His grace, you became brethren (in Islamic faith), and you were brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His (ayahs) proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations) clear to you, that you may be guided)). Al-Imran: 102-103.

Eidul-Fitri
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Laa Ilaaha Ilallahu Allahu Akbar Wali Laahil Hamdu.
O, Muslims, Fear Allah (s.w.t) and know His blessing on you in this Eid day, because this is the day which ends fasting and opens the door to Pilgrimage month (Hajj) to the house of GOD. It is the time to reward those who fasted and stood at night to worship ALLAH the Almighty. A day which is full of happiness, it is a day when Muslims come out to their prayer places (Masjids, prayer fields) to thank ALLAH (s.w.t) for ending the holy month while in good health. Asking ALLAH to reward them on their good deeds during the month of Ramadan, and to forgive them of all evils they have done, and return to them this day while they are in good health and spirit and on the right path and away from any evil. <!--[endif]-->
O Muslims, our festive is not like that of the other believes. There are only three (3) valid festivals in Islam: Weekly festive (Friday prayers or gathering), Eidul-Fitri and Eidul-Adha. There are no any other festivals or Eids than these three mentioned. There is no birthday festive in Islam, neither victory festive, nor promotion being president or king festive. The Prophet (P.B.U.H) did not ask his companions to celebrate his birthday; neither did the Muslims celebrate in their victories of Battles. Also, after the Prophet’s death (P.B.U.H) his vicegerents (Khulafa) didn’t celebrate when they were elected to lead the Muslims.
If there was any good in celebrating or having festivals other than the two Eids and Friday, the companions of the Prophet (P.B.U.H) could have celebrated and commemorated, because they were with the Prophet (P.B.U.H) and loved him more than us. So, they could have gone for it, if there was any good in it.
O, Muslims, you should know that, today is the first day of Shawwal. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa Ilaaha Ila Laahu Allahu Akbar, Wali Laahil Hamdu.
O, Muslims, Thank Allah for these blessings, the religion of Islam, the right path, the path of the Prophets, Messengers and Saints. A complete way of life, a religion which asks us to worship only one GOD, to say the truth, to give advice, to be just, to be kind, to avoid each other the “shirk”, the lie, adulteration, inequity, tyranny. A religion that encourages all good manners and avoids or prohibits all bad manners.
If all the knowledge and wise men of the world gather to make a rule like the Islamic rule, they wont be able. There is no law better than the Islamic law, so, Muslims stick to your religion and take its way of life you will succeed.
Allah says: ((Guidance is from Me, whosoever follows my guidance will not get lost or go astray)).
O, Muslims, we need today to be united, to give advice to each other, to help each other in the good, to cure for our problems, our religion sickness, social problems with good intention, from the heart in order to gain good for these Muslim society.
Let us unite and stand together without blaming each other for the sake of our religion and society then we will succeed and gain our goal with the help of Allah the Almighty.
Allah (s.w.t) says in the Holy Quran: ((By the time, verily man is in loss, Except those who believe (Islamic monotheism) and do righteous, good deeds which Allah (s.w.t) has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which Allah has forbidden) and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in Allah’s case during preaching his religion of Islamic monotheism)) 103.

Good Manners after the month of Ramadan
O’ Muslims, fear Allah the forgiver and sustainer. He is the only one who changes the Months, causes everything that happens. He changes the night to daylight, and daylight into night. He knows all our intentions. He made for everything that happens a reason.
Every life has got a time to die. Every deed is counted. Allah knows all you do. He made the world like a market where people go to gain and comeback. Everybody is selling himself to gain “Hasanat”. You either lead yourself to Paradise (Janah) or Hell (Naar).
Allah says in the Holy Quran: ((The Day that He assembles you (all) for a Day of Assembly that will be a day of mutual loss and gain (among you). And those who believe in Allah and work righteousness. He will remove from them their ill, and He will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever: that will be the supreme achievement. But those who reject faith and treat Our signs as falsehoods, they will be companions of the Fire, to dwell therein forever: and evil is that Goal)). 164:9-10.
O’Muslims, remember the days passing are part of your Age (life), and it is away to permanent home. As days go, you are nearer to the end of your life. So, let us work hard for our “Akhira” here after, a day that we will be brought in front of a just (justice) judge.
The Judge of all, Allah the Almighty. Allah says in the Holy Quran: ((on the Day when every soul will be confronted, with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done. It will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (to remember) Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him)). 2:30.
O’ Servants of Allah, fear Allah in the remaining days of your life, be with Allah in every minute by remembering Him. Do good deeds for the sake of Allah, and repent to Him in all bad deeds you have done.
O’ Muslims, few days ago you have been in the month of Ramadan, the month of “Barakah” and “kheyrat”. A month any good deed you do is doubled rewarded. You fast in its day and stood for prayers in its night. You want to be near Allah, by doing good deeds. Whoever has done good deeds in this month should thank Allah and continue to do good after it. Whoever did bad should repent as you got a time to repent before your day comes.
Remember, Allah gives wealth whoever He loves and whomever He does not love alike. But Allah does not give religion except to the one He loves. Whoever Allah gives religion, He loves him. Therefore, there is no end for a believer “Mu’umin” to worship Allah unless he dies. Allah said: ((And serve the Lord until there come unto you the hour, that is certain)). Al-Hujarat: 99.
So, dear Muslims, worshiping Allah is not limited to the holy month of Ramadan. A believer does not stop worshiping Allah until his day comes. In the Hadith the Prophet (pb.u.h) says: (The best of people is one who got along life and good deeds).
O’ Muslims, there are signs for doing good. By doing good deed after a good deed leads to the love of Allah. And by doing bad deed after a bad deed, takes you far from Allah.
Allah (s.w.t) says: ((For those things that are good remove those that are evil, Be that the word of remembrance to those who remember their Lord)). Hud: 114.
And in the Hadith, the Prophet (p.b.u.h) says:(Fear Allah wherever you are, and do good after any bad deed, and live with the people with good manners).
Let us ask Allah for forgiveness, may Allah give us the guardians to the right path by doing good deeds in every year, every month, every week, every day, every hour, every minute and every second. Amin.
Punishment in the grave
Praise is to ALLAH ((He who created death and life, He may try which of you is best in deed, and He is the Exalted in Might, oft-Forgiving)). Quran 67: 2.
I pear witness that there is no God worth worship except ALLAH, He is the owner of everything, no one shares His kingdom, He kills and creates and He is worthy of doing everything. I pear witness that Muhammad (p.b.u.h) is our prophet, the messenger and servant of ALLAH (s.w.t); He passed the message and advised the Ummah. (People). Allah said in the Holy Quran: ((O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam)) Al-Imran: 102.
Dear Muslims, The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said while talking about punishment in the grave, as narrated by Bara Ibn Azib (r.a): Bara said: (We went out with the prophet (p.b.u.h) to attend the funeral of one of the Ansari men. When we reached the grave, and before the man was buried, the messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h) sat down (facing the Qibla) and we sat down around him. We were as silent and still as if there were birds on our heads, and he had in his hand a stick with which he scratched up the earth. (He began to look up to the sky and down at the ground, and he raised and lowered his gaze three times). He said: ((Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave: two or three times. Then he said: “ when the believing slave is reaching the end of his time in this world, and starting out in the hereafter, angels with white faces which look like the sun come down to him from heaven, bringing one of the shrouds of paradise and some of its Hunut. They sit down around him, as far as the eye can see. Then the angel of death comes and sits by his head, and says: (O good soul, come out to the forgiveness and pleasure of Allah. And there emerges from the soul a scent like the finest musk to be found on the face of the earth. He said: they take the soul up, and whenever they take it past a group of angels, they say who is this good soul? And they reply, it is so and so, the son of so and so, using the best names with which he was addressed in this world. (They go on) until they reach the first heaven, they ask for it to be opened, and it is opened for them. In each heaven, those who are closest to Allah will accompany him to the next heaven, until they reach the seventh heaven, where Allah, may He be exalted and glorified, will say: Register the book of my slave in Illiyun’ and what will explain to you what Illiyun is? (There is) a Register (fully) inscribed, to which bare witness those nearest (to Allah). Quran 83:19-21. So, his book will be registered in Illiyun. Then Allah (s.w.t) will say: Take him back to the earth, for (this was promise): I created them from it, I will return them to it, and I will resurrect them from it again. He said: He will be taken back to the earth, and his soul will be returned to his body. (He said: And he will hear the footsteps of his companions as they leave him).
Two stern angels will come to him, (rebuke him) and sit him up. They will ask him, ‘who is your Lord? He will answer: “My Lord is Allah’. They will ask him, ‘what is your religion? He will say: My religion is Islam’. They will ask: who is who is this man who was sent among you? He will say: He is the messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h). They will ask him: what did you do? He will say: I read (recited) the Book of Allah, and I believe in it. (A voice will call from heaven: My slave has spoken the Truth, so furnish his grave from paradise and clothe him from paradise, and open for him a gate to paradise. He said: Some of its breeze and scent will reach him, and his grave will be widened for him as long as the eye can see. He said: There will appear before him a handsome, well-dressed and finely scented man, who will say: “I bring good news which will make you glad. This is the day which you were promised.’ He will say: ‘Aim your good deeds, and by Allah I only ever saw you hastening to obey Allah, and ever reluctant to disobey Him, so may Allah reward you with good. When he sees what is in paradise he will say: ‘my Lord, Hasten the coming of the Hour, so that I may return to my family and my wealth: It will be said to him be patient. <!--[endif]-->
((He said: as for the disbelieving man, when he leaves this world and enters the Hereafter, Stern and harsh angels come down to him from heaven; their faces are black and they bring with them sack cloth from Hell. They sit around him, as far as the eye can see. The angel of death comes and sits at his head, and says: “O evil soul, come out to the anger and wrath of Allah, He said: The soul will be dragged out of his body with as much difficulty as a many pronged skewer being dragged through wet wool. (The veins and nerves will be destroyed by it).
Every angel between heaven and earth, and every angel in heaven will curse him. The gates of heaven will be locked and the people of every heaven will pray to Allah not to allow his soul to ascend through their domain. He will take it, and immediately put it into the sackcloth; it will stink like the foulest stench of dead flesh ever witnessed on earth. They will take the soul up, and whenever they take past a group of angels, they will say: ‘who is this evil soul? They say: ‘it is so and so the son of so and so, using the worst name with which he was addressed in the world. (They will go on) until they reach the first heaven; they will ask for it to be opened to them, and it will not be opened. Then the Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h) recited: ((No opening will there be of the gates of heaven, or will they enter the Garden, until the Camel can pass through the eye of the needle)) Al-A’araf: 40.
Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will say: “Register his book in sijjin, in the lowest earth; so, his soul will be thrown down from heaven until it reaches his body. Then he recited: “((If anyone assigns partners to Allah, he is as if he had fallen from heaven and been snatched up by birds, or the wind had swooped (like a bird on its prey) and thrown him into a far distant place)) Al-Hajj: 31. So, his soul will be returned to his body. Two stern angels will come to him, rebuke him and sit him up. They will ask him: Who is your Lord? He will say: Ha-hah, I do not know. They will ask him: What is your religion? He will say: Ha-hah, I do not know. They will ask: what do you know about this man who was sent among you? He will not even know his name, but he will be told Muhammad, and he will say: Hah-hah, I do not know. I hard the people saying such and such.
Then a voice will call from heaven, saying: ‘He has lied, so furnish his grave from hell, and open for him a gate to Hell, so some of its heat and venom will reach him, and his grave will be constricted until his ribs are crushed together.
There will come to him a man with an ugly face, badly dressed and foul smelling. He will say: I bring you bad news; this is the day, which you were promised. He will say: And you, may Allah give you even worse news, who are you? Your face brings bad news. He will say: Aim your evil deeds.
Then a gate will be opened for him to Hell and his grave furnished from Hell. ‘He will say: My Lord, may the Hour never come.
O’ wise people be careful of your deeds, as your deeds will lead you either to Paradise or Hell. May Allah, the Almighty take us all to Paradise. Amen.
The Importance of Salah (Prayer) and it’s significant for being obligatory
Praise is to ALLAH, who made on his servants obligatory five daily prayers, for a reason well known to Him. He made these prayers to wipe all small sins, which occur in between the prayers. I pare witness that, there is no god but Allah only and Muhammad is His servant and messenger, the leader of the believers (P.B.U.H) and his family and companions.
O people: fear ALLAH and know what He has instructed you to do of “Ibadah” good deeds and whatever He has asked you to avoid doing. Allah (S.W.T) did not ask you to do these “(Ibadah)(Qalb).” as if He needs you, but you are the one who need ALLAH all the time and for your own sake Allah is asking you to do these good deeds to get to paradise. By doing this good, performing your prayers on time, will have an effect on the society or the community you are living in, and will build a strong and well-behaved community. If the heart is cured, the body too is cured as the Prophet (P.B.U.H) said: “In the body there is a piece of meat, if that piece is cured the whole body is cured, if that piece is un-cured the whole body is un-cured, and that piece of meat is the heart
O people, you need ALLAH every time, so worship Him and thank Him of what He gave you, He made some things which can make you be near to Him, i.e. by praying five times a day, remembering Him in every minute of your life will clear your hearts of all evil things, because prayers is the thing which connects the servant to his Lord (Allah). When you come clean, stand in your mart to say your prayer, with “khushu”you are standing in front of ALLAH with your heart clean, not looking sides either with your heart or face, just in front of you on your “sujud” position. Your heart is directly connected to ALLAH (S.W.T), your face to the Qibla, and reciting from the Holy Quran verses, which you think of what, ALLAH is saying to you.
When you recite a verse talking about the mercy of ALLAH you wish and ask ALLAH to make you one of those who will get this mercy, when you recite a verse of warning, you became afraid of the punishment of ALLAH in the day of judgement and you ask ALLAH not to make you one of those who will be punished. And then you go for “Ruku” praising Allah the Almighty, then stand from your Ruku then go to Sujud with your hands, feet, knees, and the most important part of the human body the face on the ground and start praising ALLAH the Almighty.
In this position is when you are near to ALLAH most and you can ask Allah anything you want, whether for forgiveness or helping you pass the test in this world or to give you good wife and children. The Messenger of ALLAH (P.B.U.H) said: “In your Sujud ask ALLAH as much as you can, because it may be granted”. After sujud, you sit and ask ALLAH forgiveness, mercy and good health. And the person goes on praying that way until he/she finishes with “Ta’athim”Mightiness of ALLAH (S.W.T) and His attributes by reciting “Al-Tahiyat”. Praising ALLAH, saying salaam on the holy prophet, salaam on the pious people of Allah, and then ask ALLAH to save you from all evil things in this world and hereafter.
So the person who prays is often in Ruku, sujud and reciting Quran and asking forgiveness. His heart is near his Lord (Allah) in this times, what is good than this, and that person comes out of the Mosque with a heart different to the one he entered with the Mosque, he comes out with a heart full of light, happiness and a heart kind to Islam and he will like to do good and avoid bad and hate all bad things. And he will make sure to be as Allah (S.W.T) said in the Holy Quran: “ Salah (prayer) avoids doing the bad and all evil things”.
So, dear Muslims, a worship or act which it’s result is this way, we should make sure to do it and go for it and make it our guide, and we ask Allah the merciful to help us in doing it and remembering and thanking Him and save us from the evils of Satan ”Shaidhan” and make us among those who fulfilled His word as He said in the Holy Quran: “Look after and beware of your prayers and specially “Asar” prayers”.
Up-Bringing of Children

Praise be to ALLAH, who created us in the best shape, and brought us in the best of manners. I bare witness that there is no God but GOD and Muhamad peace be upon him is the messenger of God and the seal of all Prophets and Messengers.
ALLAH said in the Holy Quran: (( O you who believe, save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is men and stones)) Al-Tahrim:6.
It was narrated by Ibn Jabir that, Ibn Abbass(R.A) said in the meaning of this verse, do obey ALLAH and fear the bad deeds and ask your children to do good and keep off, f the bad, because that is the way out. Abdirazack and others narrated that Ali Ibn Abi Talib said: "Teach yourselves and family the good."
O servant of GOD, whoever is brought on something, will mature on it most likely. Whoever brings his child in a good way will see the fruits when they grow-up and will be happy. O servant of GOD, it is a big responsibility on you, you will be asked of it in the day of Judgement, because GOD the almighty will ask everyone their responsibility, Whether they fulfil it or not. So, your children are your responsibility. Fear GOD of this responsibility, because these children were born on "Fitra" Islam and if you don’t guide them, they will go astray. (Will be lost). The Prophet peace be upon him said: " Every new born is born on Fitra (as a Muslim), it is his Parents who make him a Jew, or Christian or an Idol worshiper".
O' servants of GOD, bringing up and teaching children is a big thing, it will either have a good or bad effect on our spiritual life, society and our ethics, because they are the future base of this society. A lot of things are confronting them today, cultural clash, and other things. Their problem today is the mother of all problems, for us to lose wealth or life is better than lose the good up bringing of our children today. We have to plant in their soul the love of Islam, the teaching and manners of Islam, word, action and belief.
Fear GOD and separate your children from bad once, the once who don’t have Islamic manners, teach them what you have been taught by the great Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, He said: " Ask your children to pray when they are seven years old, cane them on prayers when they are ten years old and separate them in the bed." GOD said in the Quran while talking about the wisdom of Luqman to his son:(( O' son, observe prayer, and enjoin good, and forbid evil, and endure patiently whatever may befall you. Surely, this is a matter of high resolve. And don’t turn your cheek away from men in pride, nor walk in the earth haughtily; surely GOD loves not any arrogant boaster)). Luqman: 18-19.
So, dear Muslims, who is responsible of what, is happening to our children today?
The answer is all of us are responsible. The situation of the Muslim children is becoming worse day after day, and I belief we are the reason behind it. GOD said: ((And whatever misfortune befalls you is due to what your own hands have wrought. And He forgives many of your sins)). Al-Shura: 30.
Ibn Kathir said in the translation of this verse: "Whatever happens to you of misfortune is because of what you did before.
To know the reasons why our children became bad and lost we should start from their families, home, school, friends and even their food, drinks and clothing, then only we can know why all of this is happening.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, people came to these countries, while some were poor, some feared for their life then GOD gave them all what they wanted here, and because of that, they were suppose to remember GOD and thank Him, as GOD said in the Holy Quran: ((Remember Me, so I will remember you, thank Me and don’t disobey Me)) A-Baqarah:152. They didn't do what GOD wanted, they got lost in this world saving money whether it is Halal or Haram income, until they saw their children in the streets, doing what a Muslim must not do, until some were put in the gaols. (Cells).
GOD the Almighty already told us what happened to the Quraishi people, they were feed after a big draught, they were given security after they have been in fear for their lives, then they were asked to thank GOD and obey Him. GOD said in the Holy Quran: ((They should worship the Lord of this House, who has fed them against hunger, and has given them security against fear)). Al-Quraish: 4-5.
So, whoever obeys this command, GOD guarantees him security in this world and the hereafter, and whoever disobeys will be denied security.
GOD the Almighty tells us in the Holy Quran: ((And GOD puts forward the example of a township (Makkah), that dwelt secure and well-content: its provision coming to it in abundance from every place, but it (its people) denied the favours of GOD (with ungratefulness). So GOD made it taste extreme of hunger (famine) and fear, because of that (evil. i.e. denying prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) which they (its people) used to do)). Al-Nahal: 112.
So, servant of GOD, we realize that, because of disobedience to GOD come all of this fear, hunger. We have to take these examples in mind and go back to GOD. Do good and avoid evil. GOD said in the Holy Quran: ((And these similitude’s we put forward for mankind, but none will understand them except those who have knowledge (of GOD and His signs). Al-Ankabut: 43.
Let us ask ourselves, why are we in this situation?
The answer is, it is because our community when they come to these countries, they forgot about their children, the Father leaves home early in the morning and doesn't know what is going on at home; they eat and drink everything without differentiating between Halal and Haram. Some of them use to pray when they come here, but stopped praying after a while. Some of them use to go to Mosques for Friday prayer, but when they come here and GOD gave them what they wanted they forgot about prayers, or some just pray duhur at work instead of Friday prayer. Some use to pray on time, but when they got work, they started joining Duhur with Asar when they go home, as if they are travelling.
Some went for buying houses with interest (Ribba) when GOD the Almighty has already prohibited and promised whoever takes Interest it is a war between him and GOD.
Dear Muslims, these are the main reasons of what is happening to our children today. You see them selling drugs, using it and all of them became drop-outs of school. How do we want to succeed? How do we want to compete with other communities? What is wrong with our homes? Cant we see how the world is progressing and we are left back?
We are in deep sleep and unless we are awake fully, we will be worse than those people who live in the third world. Our children are now in school holidays, we have to give them something to do, teach them about their religion, the manners, bring them with us to the Mosques every time. Don’t leave them glued in front of the TV. This disease we have in our homes.

Zakatul-Fitri is compulsory for every Muslim: male, female, young, and old, rich, poor (if they can afford to pay) and even of the baby born during the morning of Eid before Eid prayer.
Zakatul-Fitri is paid only once in a year.
Pay something good to the poor, as GOD likes good things.
You can pay Zakatul-Fitri to one person or more.
Zakatul-Fitri is two and half kilos of the main meal you use.
These days we pay $7-8 dollars per person.
It can be paid two days before Eid. But it is good to pay it in the morning of Eid before Eid prayer.
Happy Eid to all.
