| Ina lilahi waina ilehi rajiuun. I was greatly moved by the euology of Sheikh Abdullahi on the departed Maalim Ibrahim . Not only was I able to relate some of the stories on the Maalim, I was also a student of the maalim (may Allah rest his soul in Jannatul Firdowsa). I wish to thank Sheikh Abdullahi for for rekindling that part of my past and bringing it up in such dramatic way. I also wish to add few lines of the history of the departed maalim. Maalim Ibrahim eventually left for Leheley primary to continue his teaching. The Maalim was a good muslim by any standards, he had radiant face with a permanent smile, he was areal mutaguun. Sheikh Abdullah delivered a moving eulogy. May Allah reward him for his effort. Ameen |
